DELIVERY

Delivery
Standard delivery terms for all VELORBIS LTD bicycles are according to stock availability. If your bicycle is in stock, delivery will be up to 5 working days from the time that your order is placed. If your bicycle is not in stock, delivery will be 4-6 weeks from the time that your order is placed. We always strive to get your bicycle to you as quickly as possible.

We offer free delivery all over the UK mainland. It is expensive to deliver bicycles to the UK particularly with such a big package (h: 130 cm x l: 180 cm x w: 25 cm), therefore shipments can sometimes be delayed by the delivery company DSV.

We use a worldwide delivery company called DSV. We will e-mail you a DSV consignment or tracking number (16 digits e.g. 4909901347529004) as soon as your order has been dispatched from our warehouse in Germany or Denmark. Please note that if the bicycle is not sent to a business address you will need to be home on the day of delivery. If you are not able to be home you must inform Velorbis or DSV of any special delivery instructions before we dispatch your goods!

You will be able to track you order on DSV’s website http://www.ids-zas.com/index.asp. Unfortunately we are not able to track the delivery for you, so all questions regarding your delivery should be directed to DSV. The DSV Support contact details you should use, if you have questions regarding your delivery after you have received your Shipping ID number from us, are:

WARRANTY & FAULTS

Overview
A bicycle consists of many different components and is therefore warranted under different terms. Therefore any fault with a particular component on your bicycle will be dealt with as an individual issue with that particular faulty part. It is required that you give us a chance to fix the problem before any refund or product swap can take place. Rest assured that we will do our best to ensure that the issue is fairly resolved.

Warranty period
VELORBIS LTD warrants each new Velorbis bicycle frame against defects in workmanship and materials, for a lifetime period for the original owner from the date of purchase. VELORBIS LTD warrants each new Velorbis bicycle fork against defects in workmanship and materials, for a period of 5 years for the original owner from the date of purchase.

VELORBIS LTD likewise, warrants all other original components, for a period of one year from the date of purchase.

Warranty cover
This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of defective frame or defective parts, and is the sole remedy of the warranty. This warranty applies only to original owners and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made directly to VELORBIS LTD. Proof of purchase directly from VELORBIS LTD is required. Defective parts on Velorbis bicycles purchased from a bicycle retailer must be addressed with the bicycle retailer directly.

The warranty does not cover; normal wear and tear, improper assembly or follow up maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as sold. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect. Modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. VELORBIS LTD shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Labour charges associated with parts changeovers are not covered by the warranty.

This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights and those rights may vary from place to place. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer.

Bicycle Maintenance

After several months of using a bicycle, a component or a part of the bicycle may have worked loose and/or may have caused damage to the bicycle. Firstly, please stop riding your bicycle if you even suspect something might be wrong. Please refer to your User Manual for instructions on bicycle maintenance.

NOTE: New Parts Always Work Loose

Please note that all our bicycles leave our warehouses having been built by experienced mechanics. Certain parts of the bicycle such as the bottom bracket, are assembled and correctly tightened by us before they leave our premises. We check bicycles before they leave and make other adjustments however nuts and bolts and similar mechanical parts will work loose over a period of time. This means you must check them and tighten them as you go. This is especially true for NEW products and parts that normally go through a 'bedding in' period. However if you suspect a product is faulty – please don't hesitate to e-mail us.

Product Faults

If a fault develops you must stop using the product immediately and contact us in writing. We will determine if it's a warranty issue. Warranty only covers faults that develop during normal usage of the bicycle. In some cases we will determine warranty issues with our network of authorised dealers. Minor faults covered by our warranty can be verified and repaired by a local bicycle shop near you. IMPORTANT: Always contact VELORBIS LTD before consulting your local bicycle shop as we will initially determine warranty type and suitable solution.

Fair Play
At VELORBIS LTD we operate a fair play policy to protect you and us.

Occasionally people try to bring a warranty claim against products unfairly (i.e. when a product had been abused) or change their mind about a product well into its usage. We do our best to resolve problems but don't consider this fair play. Ultimately we want happy customers - so please be fair with us and we'll be fair with you.
